Alison Hodson has worked in the Voluntary Sector for over 12 years in a variety of roles. She also has 17 years experience of working in strategic management roles within both the voluntary and public sectors. This includes project managing of several large public sector projects.
For several years she was part of the senior management team at Northampton Volunteering Centre. This included responsibility for the delivery of their services to the voluntary sector. Alison also managed several Lottery projects, including Springboard, a project encouraging people into volunteering and was a manager of a Volunteer Car Scheme project.
Prior to working in the Voluntary Sector she had a succesful career in Local Government. She worked for three County Councils in the Midlands. Her greatest achievement in this time was working on the planning and opening of the then new Lincoln Central Library.
Alison is a qualified trainer, a member of the Chartered institute of Information Professionals and also has an MSc from Cranfield University.
She has recently become an accredited trainer for Action Centre Leadership (Adair International)
